New! Prancing Pony Studios Tack Restoration
Though I have been buying, restoring, and reselling tack for a while for myself, I have decided to open my services to the public. Don't buy a whole new saddle set, fix yours up for a fraction of the price to be competitive with today's tough show ring competition. Examples will be posted soon. Individual cases will require assessment. Custom projects can be done, please inquire. Please inquire if you would like an estimate of any jobs done you may be interested in having done, I am happy to tell you exactly what I can do with your tack and how much it will cost. | 1. Replacing/adding silver pieces on saddle/bridle | exact cost of buyer's requested silver from either Rio Rondo or Sulser Saddlery, plus $1.50 installation fee per piece. |
| 2. Adding/replacing old stirrups with cast silver ones on western or english saddle | cost of stirrups directly from Rio Rondo or Sulser, plus $4.00 for installation |
| 3. Basic saddle fix-up: includes regluing any loose pieces (not replacing any pieces), polishing silver and leather (if possible), any other small blemish fixes | $15 |

If extra items need to be custom ordered to match the color of an existing saddle, I will try my best to dye leather to as close the color as possible. Before making completely new items, I will try to redo one out of the original leather.
Owner of tack pays all shipping fees (to and from me). Other services are available based on customer's needs. Half payment down is required, balance can be paid upon buyer receiving emailed pictures of restored tack. Estimated return time per piece is approximately one week for small replacements, though rush service may be worked out.
*This service also includes punching small holes in the existing or replaced leather adjustment straps that will run through the buckles. Leather must be larger than 1/16" to have holes for tongue buckle adjustment.
